7-up Chicken

This dutch oven recipe can be used in your oven. You could also cook it outside and use hot coals like the traditional dutch oven way to cook.

1 lb. bacon, diced
8 potatoes, quartered
1 lb. bag of baby carrots
1/2 cup flour
8 chicken breasts
2 large onions, sliced
20 ounces of 7-up or Sprite
8 slices of processed American cheese or whatever cheese you like
Season All seasoning or use whatever seasons you like

Fry bacon in 12" dutch oven until crisp. Dredge chicken in flour and Season All. Brown chicken in bacon grease. When both sides of chicken are browned, add potatoes, carrots, and onions. Sprinkle Season All liberally over veggies. Add crumbled bacon on top and pour in 7-up or sprite. Cook at 350 degrees in oven or continue to cook on hot coals until veggies are tender and chicken is done. Bring chicken pieces to top and cover with a slice of processed cheese. Place lid back on crock pot just long enough for the cheese to melt.
