Cheesy French Bread

You will need two dutch ovens for this recipe or just half it if you only have one dutch oven.

1 Tbsp. Yeast in 1 + 1/2 cup warm water
1 Tbsp. sugar
1 + 1/2 tsp. salt
1 Tbsp. oil
2 cups grated cheese
4 cups flour
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 tsp. onion salt
1 egg white
Poppy seeds or sesame seeds are optional

Mix sugar, salt, oil, and yeast mixture in a large bowl. Add flour and mix well. Punch dough down 5 times at 10 minute intervals. Turn onto floured board and divide in half. Shape each into a rectangle then place in a dutch oven. Sprinkle with garlic, onion, and the cheese. Roll firmly into a roll long ways. Slash top. Place in dutch oven and let rise until double in size. Brush top with egg white and sprinkle with poppy seeds or sesame seeds if desired. I prefer it without the seeds (Just FYI). Bake at 400 degrees for 30-35 minutes or until bread sounds hollow when tapped.
